Surrender to Power

jump, flickrWhen you live in surrender, something comes through you into the world of duality that is not of this world. Eckhart Tolle

Surrender is often perceived as an adventure in powerlessness, in yielding, giving in/giving up.

What if . . .

Surrender is an act of transformation
that opens you up to the next level of power.

What if in the letting go you are in effect freeing up your energy . . . Energy that is  now more readily accessible to you? What if in letting go you become more than you were before?

Check in to where surrender is wanting your attention. You can often get clues from those places where it’s diffficult to surrender, to let go :

Beliefs, Emotions, Stories, etc.

Test the mettle of your willingness and dive deeply . . .

PS Often sound can pierce the armor of your mindset and deliver an opening to wonder and willingness . This is a really nice one. If you’re unfamiliar with the image below it’s Ganesh, remover of obstacles, in the Hindu religion:

Music: Jonathan Goldman, ” Crown of Creation”

Thanks, Suzann, and I appreciate your engagement and energy. It’s always SO delicious to share a great find with others.

I LOVED the music in this piece and Ganesh’s energy has been with me since I was 12 years old. My Dad worked in Port Newark and was always friendly with the ship’s officers. That was back in the day before the Patriot Act. One day he brought home a statue of Ganesh and Shiva. I instantly took Ganesh as my own, he is still in my possession today.

In the Yoruban tradition, Elegua is the one you meet in the crossroads. I also have an Elegua.

Crossroads, paths, portals to opening are an exciting adventure. That’s where the new frolics and cavorts awaiting your engagement…

Adela,

Sometimes when I talk with others, the word surrender means giving up to them.

You explained surrender as an act of transformation — moving forward — not giving up. This is a wonderful and powerful way to redefine our meaning. And, of course, our life.

Thank you.

Into the eyes and Eye of Ganesh, I was drawn…into a world of peace, so still, so calm, so power filled!

Thank you for sharing this video. It is truly a daily meditation.
