A Mystical Life

What if it were possible to transcend the mundane and access a mystical life?

A mystic is one who, above all else in life, desires to Know, not intellectually but experientially, the deepest Truth of existence. This way of Being is way beyond the surface murmurings of ordinary living. It demands depth of engagement and a yearning for full immersion in the Ecstatic. Mysticism is about how you can come to live within the fullness of your True nature, here and now.

Think of some well known mystics – Hildegard von Bingen, Rumi, St Theresa of Avila, Kabir  – their lives were spent seeking the ecstatic communion with the essence of ‘God.' Their writings speak of ‘God' as if he were a lover or beloved, so total was their commitment to experiencing the divine in their physical experience.

So too, can you welcome the mystical perspective into your mundane moments and magically shift what's possible.

The essence of prayer, even of a mystical experience, is the way we are altered to see everything from its life-filled dimension. Matthew Fox

The boundless possibility that awaits you in this moment is to see everything in life from this mystical perspective. Everything is alive and seeking your engagement. In seeing the magic, you bring possibility into being. Your seeing and being create a New You and a New World.

    SWEET HOPE’S PERFECTION
Hope arising amid dusty dreams encases
Me in fragrent fragments of divine essence
As I plunge into the cosmic ball of consciousness
    Diving full in expectantly
No worries unhurried, knowing all is well.
    Caressed and cosseted by love
    I feel enlivened again, renewed.
Trust triumphant rises the phoenix flamed
    From hot fire’s burning passion
    The Universe has responded.
    Stumbling graced with tears torrenting
From my wet eyes deep in gratitude
    Knowing now all hurdles gone
    Eliminated from the physical
Magic is here come to stay for me and
All of us who have dreamed this moment.
    Life pulses me vibrantly through
    The cosmic dance delightfully
    Whilst strains of silent singing
Greet my wholled soul in happiness
    Hope springs eternally answered Questions
And peace bathes the cells of my body
    I can smile once more
I trusted and waited patiently for this
    Feel so bountifully blessed
Growth has come from the wild storm
Now once more I am to be joined by
    My granddaughter dear darling
    My trust was my knowing.

Have you ever considered the value of nothing? If yes, how do you value nothing? What have you learned? If no, take a minute or two to contemplate Nothing Has Value. Notice what thoughts pop up.

Powerful words are YES! and NO! Powerful actions are YES! and NO! Powerful energy is each of thee words. Thank you Renee for posting and for sharing about your mom. I know many folks in our community of YES-ville are dealing with the reality of aging parents. This silence that can follow either of these words tells all there is to tell just as the silence in today’s energy shift spoke volumes..Silence between the words, between the letters in a word, between the musical notes is the space where G-awe-d dwells. For me,this energy is most easily found in silent stillness. WOW!

I am now propelled to a new level of mysticism which is more my playground each day. The other reality is showing up as not true time and time again. Being by the ocean over the week end walking in the sun across the magnificent pebbly beach, joining with the power of the ever shifting sea, has given me even more connection and the mundane so tawdry. This whole journey has been such a blessing compacting all the wonderful teachings and combining everything gloriously. My gratitude is unbounded and my blessings full-hearted.

I am so humbled by the depth and warmth
of everyone in this tribe. I feel like
I’m wrapped in a cozy blanket of love
that I wear all day. And Adela, thanks
for reminding me how much I appreciate
Matthew Fox. I attended one of his
workshops several years ago and he is
so inspiring. I also was at his last
    public speaking engagements before he
was “silenced” by the RC Church. At
the time I was upset about it, now I
see it was perfect. He is free to
    be himself now.

    Hugs to all,
    Sue (Nashville)

      Hi Sue,

I attended a workshop with Matthew Fox years ago in NYC. Everyone in the room was riveted on his presence, me too. He turned me onto the mystical Catholic tradition, which I didn’t even know existed. It redeemed, somewhat, my jaded view of my religious tradition I was born into. Glad it resonated for you!

I am very much a lover of inspired words. terri’s words often take my breath away as do the words of so many others in our community of YES-ville.

I look forward to todays’ IN-ergy shift and all that is to come.

Absolutely, sort of kind of YES-ville is like Who-ville: imaginary and seen within the minds eye of each of us. YES-ville is a place where love, joy, excitement are the way of BE-ing. Each voice is important, each resident is encouraged and supported signing their heart song. more to read on EnergycafeLive…
