There’s been so much yakety-yak about Michael Jackson. I have always admired and adored him. Here’s a wonderful interview with him that resonated with what I sensed about Michael.

Often we try to reconcile the person (and their personal life) with their work. Big mistake I’ve learned. I’ve studied with many masters who were doing amazing stuff whose personal lives left a lot to be desired (in my opinion, hardee-har-har). In the end, it was always an opporutnity for me to check my judgment at the door.

Michael was a powerful man, who awakened people to a powerful message. Transformation, it begins in your own zip code.

Peace, Michael…

Easier said than done, right? How often do you second guess yourself, wishing for things to be different? How often do you criticize your way of being, thinking and acting? It is impossible to change ANYTHING until you are ready to be WITH it. Practicing to accept yourself, as you are, is paradoxically the key to change.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then I can change. Carl Rogers

This acceptance is not resignation to your apparent problems and perceptions. On the contrary, it is a portal to discernment of what is TRUE. The journey of self acceptance attunes you to the ripples on the surface of the lake. As you notice the come and the go, you become more deeply present to an ever pulsing rhythm that is a solid core of IS-ness, of BE-ing, of ALL-ness. You come to know that you are THAT, too.

Step into the heartbeat of the LIVING now:

1. Breathe, relax, expand . . . easily and deliciously. Ahhhh!
2. Feel the ripple of you in the neverending-ness of ALL.
3. Become aware of your superconnection to the streaming of life.
4. Stand in your vibrantly dynamic presence and know the all of YOU.
5. Allow the streamings of you to play powerfully in the present moment.

All is well my friends. Have a glorious week and may more of what’s TRUE about you awaken in the ever present NOW.

The emptiness, the non-beingness, is chock-full of activity. There is energy and movement, there is an ‘alivening’ quality to it.

This is the fabric of creation, the particles that make up your body, the space around you, everything that IS in time and space is made of this ‘alivening stuff.’ Take a moment right now, close your eyes and just change the slow down the pace of your breathing, your thinking, your being . . . notice how there is a charge to this quality of you. Sense the intelligence and the knowing in this emptiness of ‘thingness.’ Notice the YOU in you and the ALL in you.

FEEL the deliciousness of it, the certainty of it, the solidness of it . . . even in its movement it’s more real than your fingers, more constant than the chair beneath you.

Now imagine that you have access to this pool of alivening potentiality in every moment. See yourself being IT as you work, as you drive, when you greet your family, when you’re doing your bills. Notice how the quality of your doing is informed by the energy of your being this ‘aliveness.’ Notice how more real and true is the YOU that shows up.

Play with the aliveness of your being and notice how it ripples into your everyday moments and transforms everything from mundane to magical.

Setting markers in your world can be a powerful exercise in becoming aware of where you are, what you want, and how to get there. The tick tock of time is a great focusing tool.

As `time passes’ I’ve become more connected to what’s TRUE for me vs the rules and standards of others. I’ve switched from an outer to an inner compass and the quality of HOW I engage is what drives my world. Every day and every moment is an opportunity to line up with the potential of my Being.

It could happen anywhere . . .
with anyone . . .
at any time . . .

It’s more about who `I am’ and what I bring to the party. There’s nowhere to go and nothing to do. In the rippling movement of my breath everything IS now. I don’t need anything and I have everything. Nothing’s missing and there’s more.

How about you?
