If you haven’t heard of Randy Pausch you might want to check out his video. So far 10 million people have downloaded it.

Randy is an example of visionary leadership. Leadership is no longer hierarchical and top down. It’s collaborative and fueled by individual power and authority. It’s about stepping into the potential in your world and openly embracing its evolution.

That’s what Randy did when he was faced with pancreatic cancer. His leadership around his ‘disease’ has influenced millions.

Ordinary vs Extraordinary

I have been listening to 9am Monday for a bit. It may have been my evolutionary buddy Simone Peer who turned me on to Nic Askew’s short films that do something. They bring me to a thoughtful pause. My breathing slows down, I’m more aware and in tune and I immerse myself into the ah of now. I loved this one about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.

I just saw the ‘Last Lecture’ video by Dr. Randy Pausch and was inspired and moved by his ability to dream, inspire others’ dreams and his ‘anything is possible’ take on life. He is certainly on my list of Evolutionary Leaders.
